It is also one of the most recognizable and recognizable musical instruments, and its distinctive design is recognized worldwide. With this drawing, it can be difficult to learn how to draw a violin.

How to Draw A Violin
Step 1
In this first step of our guide to drawing a violin, we’re not going to draw it. Instead, we will draw the bow that We will use on the strings to create the notes.
When drawing this arc, you will want to use a ruler to make your life easier. Using your ruler, draw two thin lines very close together.
Then there is a small piece of metal that you can add to the bottom of the arch.
Step 2
We will finish the bow at this stage of drawing the violin. You’ll still want your ruler handy!
First, add three very thin sections to the top of the arch from the last step.
Then you can use your ruler to draw the thickest chord of the bow, extending from that side to the part you drew at the bottom of the bow.
Once this arc is complete, we can finally start outlining the violin itself in the next step, so let’s move on to Draw A Violin!
Step 3
In this third step of our tutorial on how to draw a violin, we will start by outlining the instrument’s body.
This is a bit tricky, so you should take it slow and carefully follow the reference image as you draw.
The top of the violin will be fairly rounded, and then an oval portion will extend into the violin to Draw A Violin.
The body then extends outwards and inwards again for the rounded base of the violin. Once you’ve drawn the first half of this violin body, it will mirror exactly what you did on the other side.
If any of this seems a bit complicated, copy exactly what you see in the reference image, and you’ll be fine!
A rounded line is also added near the back of the violin for the part where your shoulder would press.
Step 4
Again, using the ruler, draw two lines going up from the body of the violin drawing to the neck of the instrument.
Next, we’ll draw some short, straight lines with circular shapes at the ends for the tuning pegs at the neck end.
You can then complete this step by drawing a small, very thin shape near the bottom of the violin and some curved lines for a triangular shape.
Once those aspects are traced, draw another line near the inner perimeter of the outline, and then we can move on to the next step Draw A Violin!to Draw A Violin
Step 5
For this step of our violin drawing guide, get your ruler out one last time. We’ll add four straight lines through the middle of the violin for these strings.
Then you can draw some small dot shapes over the triangle shape you drew earlier to show where the strings would connect.
So to finish, let’s draw a symbol on either side of the strings. It looks like a patterned F on one side and a backward patterned F on the other.
Once you’ve added that final detail, you’re ready for the final step! You could also draw a background with other musical instruments or add some musical notes for a more stylistic background.
These are just a few ideas, but feel free to get creative and use some of your ideas!
Step 6
Now we’re going to finish your beautiful violin drawing with some paint. We used very light shades of brown for the wood parts of the violin and darker shades of gray for the neck.
We decided to go with these colors, but this is your drawing, and you should add the color or shade you love!
